The Doncaster Astronomical Society meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday's of the month at St. George's Church House  (directly behind St. George's Church, DN1 1RD ).  Directions are given on the 'find us page'. 

Meetings start at 7.30 pm.  Anyone interested in Astronomy is welcome either as a visitor or as a potential new member.

We try and arrange to have a guest speaker every other meeting.  A list of meetings is given in the Diary.

A collection of £2.50 is made to defray costs.

Refreshments are free!

The Society owns a number of Telescopes:

           150mm Meade Refractor with "goto" ( Planetary Objects)

           125mm Meade ETX. Cassegrain with "goto".  Beginners

           Orion Europa 150mm Newtonian.  Experienced users.

           Vixen 125 mm Binoculars. ( Moon , Comets)

Experienced members are eager to help new members view the heavens with these and their own telescopes.
